The new cast iron grates for the 0-6-0 were hanging up so the Machine Tech class at Hermitage Technical Center is machining the sides and ends as a class project. Stephen McIntyre (left) and Joseph Gersch have set up this particular milling machine to smooth the rough spots on the sides so that they grates have amore uniform fit
