(jh 14 Apr 09) I was short of the "real" Blake's location by about 1/10 of a mile. It's straight ahead though. I anticipate a new picture of the actual site this September.

Here is the location of "Blakes"" -- a whistle stop -- on the legendary "Bristol Branch" of the Boston & Maine Railroad. Based on a very educated guess, the photo is looking north with the stick to the left the actual location of "Blakes". The rail bed and Pemigewasset River are to the right. Blakes is north of "Hill Depot".
