The Catskill Mtn Railroad Conductor and Trainman pose with the ladies from the Empire State Railway Museum for a timeless photo that could have been taken in the 1920's when the railroad transported hundreds of thousands to the hotels and resorts of the Catskill Mtns. Only one of these grand hotels survive, the Mohonk Mountain House originally served by the abandoned Wallkill Valley. Most of these hotels where taxed out of existence and like most businesses have gone elsewhere and are now gone, someone in government got really greedy, look what happened to IBM Kingston, the once proposed headquarters of IBM. The locomotive engineer is hiding behind the camera!
