Here the second tie has now been inserted and is being spiked. The gradall bucket was being used to widen the gauge here and also realign to rails which had had a kink. Standing in front of the bridge are (l-r) Paul Hintz, Bill Brosnan, Ron Epstein and Al Howes. Tom Healy is spiking and Foreman George peck is inserting the spike. Al Schoessow is watching from the right.
