This morning we started our "blitz" to extend the CMRR's operations from their current end at MP 22.72 to Cold Brook Station, MP 22.16. First business was tie plate and spike removal for ties marked for the first round of replacement, about every 9 feet or so. We removed plates and spikes from about 200 rotten ties between MP 22.72 and 22.38.
