Its 1964, and Portland passenger service is down to a single Budd. The Western Route has been downgraded to branchline status between Boston and Reading so all traffic to Portland now goes over the Wildcat Branch. Train #7 makes a brief station stop at Wilmington,Mass. In a year, passenger service will be all done.
