New Brunswick Southern Eastbound

GP-38 9802 leads three other mates on a Brownville Jct.. Maine to St.John, N.B. consist. The train is hustling at speed, on this Ground Hog Day of 2007, near Harvey, N.B.

While x -country skiing, I heard the train's approach in the distance and hurriedly set up a photo spot . It came up near my location faster than anticipated.....probably due to the sound being somewhat muffled by the snow on the railbed.
