I was able to snap a photo of these empty hoppers at Boston Sand & Gravel as I was sitting in traffic coming off I-93. The one on the right is from New Hampshire Northcoast RR. After doing a little research, I found that NHN ran gravel down from NH to Boston Sand & Gravel to supply aggregate for the Big Dig.
