Friday, May 28, 1982, was the last run for ConRail's Hartford-Waterbury local WNHA-21. We pick him up switching the Stanley Works complex in the center of New Britain, and will follow him to Waterbury. CR would make one more "clean-up" move on the following Sunday with an extra train labeled WNHA-0X. On June 1, 1982, the Boston & Maine would commence operation over this route and the remaining mileage of the Canal line and the Torrington branch.
