According to reports from reliable people, Guilford, the State of Maine and the Maine Eastern are going to reopen some seven miles of the former MEC Lewiston Lower branch between Brunswick and Lisbon Falls. According to reports, they have two shippers: a chipboard mill and a junk yard. I'm just telling you what I heard. I'll believe it when I can take a picture of the first trip. Should be next summer!
