Worcester & Nashua RR Stone Marker, Nashua NH

It's 40 miles south to Worcester on this section of the old W&N looking south towards Hollis Depot (39.69 miles), the site of which (now occupied by a propane gas dealer) is southwest across the street from the house in the background. Most of the old ROW between Rt. 111A and Gilson Road was recently landscaped and paved as part of an extension of the Nashua River Rail Trail, though as shown a section of the trail loops off and back onto the original RR alignment for several hundred feet because of development.
