Pop Quiz: True or False :The MEC has trackage in Canace. If you answered false, you fail the course. The MEC has about 41/2 miles of track in Canada.
This is on the line between Calais (Cal-us) and Woodland, Me where there is a big paper mill. The tracks cross the river at Baring, 4 miles above Calais and follow the St Croix River until they cross back into the US at Woodland. This is where this picture was taken. The train is southbound back to Calais. At one time, the tracks ran beyond here for 10 miles to Princeton
