CSX passing the site of the Oakdale depot, B&M Central Mass. branch having just crossed the causeway. The Wachusett Reservoir is in the background with the train heading north to Sterling Junction on the former WN&P branch. The old Central Mass. branch curved off to the right, the depot was located approximately in the area of the ball field dirt parking lot. The train itself is probably train Q274, with a load of auto-rack cars for Ayer having originated in West Springfield.
