At first I couldn't figure out why this wooden fence was put up...Then it dawned on me that the city of Derby is building a Greenway alongside the Naugatuck River from the Ansonia town line to the confluence of the Naugatuck and Housatonic Rivers. Most of the Derby part of the Greenway is going to run alongside Metro North's Waterbury line.
