Edaville in another time

#3 simmers for the fans on a summer's day in the early 1960's. This photo is a digitally restored Polaroid snapped by my dad. Check out the red drop-shadow on the "3", pinstriping around the "Edaville", and the clothing on the locals (somewhere, a Winnebago is missing a set of drapes.) Folks wearing white will live to regret it, judging from that plume of soft-coal smoke. Note Flying Yankee in background. Those were the days!

Photographed by Dwight W. Chapman, August, 1965.
Added to the photo archive by Michael Chapman, June 5, 2005.
Railroad: Edaville.
