BAR Delivery letter to B&MLRR for BML #19, January 6, 1940

Letter dated January 6, 1940, from W.G. Knight, Mechanical Superintendent of the Bangor & Aroostook RR, to W.L. Bowen, General Manager of the B&MLRR, transfering BAR #54, a 1901 Manchester 4-6-0 (Builder's #1782) steam locomotive, to the B&ML as their new #19. This locomotive remained in service with the B&ML until it was scrapped in 1950. It was the last steam locomotive to be operated by the B&ML until 1995.
