xD&H 4091

Seen here is Carroll County Rail (operators of the Carollton Oneida Minerva RR) RS3 603, which began life as D&H RS3 4091. It ended up on the Vermont Railway, was rebuilt and assigned the 603 number. It later went to the Spencerville & Elgin in western Ohio before being acquired by CCRail. This unit, with sister 606 (xL&HR 3), were sold to a scrap dealer in the Akron/Canton area late Februrary 2004, after the railroad ceased to operate from high insurance costs.
