New York Central RS3 8352 Local Freight at Palmer Station

This is a rare sight today!! A NYC local (Eastbound)leaves the Palmer Station in the late 1950's with engine 8352 in the lead. A NYC caboose is coupled behind the engine. The Palmer station can be seen in the background serving as a real passenger station rather than a junk shop! The overhang shelter for the boarding platform can be seen just above the train and it extended quite a ways from the actual station building.

Photographed by David Worth, 1958.
Added to the photo archive by Xian Clere, January 18, 2004.
Railroad: New York Central.
