Still wearing their Detroit Edison paint, MEC units approach Hoosic. Work first, paint later. Early in their GTI career, the SD40's roll westbound near Hoosic Tunnel. One thing I never liked about this shot was the railfans that used to be standing alongside the tracks; thanks to the magic of digital editing those morons are outta here.....
