EAST SOMERVILLEWalking through the Boston & Maine's Boston roundhouse at East Somerville was a pleasure I wish I could repeat. The use of steam was about over when I shot this but there were still commuter trains behind steam and usually there were some engines in steam as protection. Here are three P-2 Pacifics which I recall were in steam -- dead engines were generally not stored inside.
