making all stops...It was something of an oddity in the New Haven's late-60s passenger timetable that some Springfield-New York trains made local stops in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Westbound train 71, powered by a pair of FL9s and including a working RPO and a grill car, paused at Fairfield on the New Haven's next-to-last day.
