On a chilly Saturday morning, LB-2 is getting underway again at Walpole, Massachusetts. It was this shooter's first online encounter with the newly assigned Lowell freight power. Also, it had been a long time since New Haven could regularly offer first-generation freight consists, assembled "by the book" in the same paint scheme.

Terrific photo! Looks like there is a pair of switchers or road switchers about a dozen cars back. Would these have been engines headed for Southampton St for servicing?

Great shot, and a B unit no less. Well done Ken.
