From Wednesday 1/26, here was New England Southern's CA-1 Crew taking a loaded tank car to their client in Tilton. Since Vermont Railway acquired NEGS, the tracks on their operating territory from Concord to Tilton now remain 100% active year round to keep the freight moving.

Here was the NEGS Crew taking GMTX 1505 and one load past the Sewalls Falls Road crossing in Concord. This is one of the very few roads in Concord that had crossings for two separate rail lines. This crossing is on the east side of the Merrimack River, while the former Northern crossing is on the west side. When the Sewalls Bridge was rebuilt and the road widened, the Northern crossing was not replaced, as those tracks were eventually abandoned by Pan Am. A rail bike operation leases a section of that abandoned Northern with their base of operations on Sewalls Falls Road.

It's been just over a year since the NEGS SW1500 was returned to its home rails from VTR's Burlington shops.
