Low Budget Worcester Photo of Historical Hotbed Area

This photo is about all I have been able to get so far of the CSX intermodal yard at Worcester MA. The highway is Rt290. The track to the far left is for through commuter/passenger/freight trains. Then the yard proper, once the B&A/NYC. The brick building at far right is near the Franklin Street fire department, which was built on the site of the infamous Worcester Cold Storage fire of 1999. Behind us is the old headquarters of Osgood Bradley, and the Union Station.

Jonelle take a look at Google Maps. Next time your in Worcester get up on Franklin Street, sun will be at your back and you will have an elevated view of the yard. A lot of possibilities at that location.
