Brrrr!!!After a presumably warm and cozy ride in the cab of 22K's lead unit, conductor earns his pay on a frigid March day riding the marker into Hill Yard past the South track's dwarf signal (heard a Pan Am conductor recently refer to a dwarf as a "jack" which I thought was a New Haven-ism) heading for the east wye switch. As is typical, yarding 22K into the intermodal pad tracks would take about an hour this day.
