NARRAGANSETT RACE TRACK - NEW HAVEN RRThe New Haven had a three track stub-end terminal and wye at the long gone Narragansett Park Race Track in Pawtucket, RI. The terminal was reached from Providence and Boston using the old Boston & Providence mainline from East Junction (near Attleboro) to East Providence. Reportedly, the line was mainly used for "Gansett Specials" and during the 1930's several trains arrived at the track from Providence (using the tunnel) as well as Boston.
