"Hotel power"

And the Hotel Charles in the background will definitely place the location as Springfield station. The date, March 23, 1936, might ring a bell as well. The four B&A Pacific's are supplying power for Springfield station and Tower 40 during the "Great Spring Freshet" of 1936, STILL the highest recorded flood on the Connecticut River.

Unknown photographer March 23, 1936.
