Portland, Oregon's own GS4 4-8-4 #4449 wears its colorful American Freedom Train scheme again while on display along Portland & Western's ex-SP Tillamook Branch in Hillsboro, Ore. with the USA ArtTrain. The famed Northern has operated for more than 30 years now in its second career since emerging from a weedy spur next to Portland's Oaks Park in December 1974.
