Via dining.Somewhere in the Canadian prairie, our VIA "Ocean" Dining Steward brings an assortment of fresh rolls into the dining car in preparation for dinner. The beautifully appointed dining car and service was a throwback to a time when railroad dining was something more than a microwaved hotdog. To their credit, Via maintained dining service long after Amtrak went the microwave route.
