Canadian Pacific 4-6-2 #1246

Here's the largest steam engine in Connecticut on display on #7 track at Essex. It was my idea to bring this engine up from the Museum Yard and place it on display to replace the recently-departed U25B #2525. Just days before I left for college in 1996, I was helping paint the engine. Its an impressive engine and a nice display piece. To have it face the proper direction though would have required wyeing it at OSB. The RMNE owns the 1246.
