Fred in the cabFred Richardson at the throttle of "his" engine from Edaville days, Bridgton and Harrison #7. In his 8th decade, the spry, soft-spoken Mr. Richardson handled the throttle for several runs during the MNGRR Steamfest in September, 2003. It was apparent to the fireman/photographer that Fred certainly hadn't lost his touch! Here, Fred skillfully handles thorttle and whistle cord as he compares notes on the 37-ton Baldwin with MNGRR engineer Rick Knight.
