Photo of Lake Shore Electric 42
Lake Shore Electric 42

Lake Shore Electric Railway box motor 42 was a storage shed on a farm near Sandusky, Ohio after the LSE quit in 1938. Beyond it is LSE 181, a steel Jewett-built interurban. Today both reside at the Northern Ohio Railway Museum, which owns five LSE cars, more than any other museum anywhere. Posted with permission.

Photographed by Steve Heister, August, 2001.
Added to the photo archive by Frank Hicks, December 28, 2005.
