Photo of Lyman Viaduct
Lyman Viaduct

The Lyman Viaduct poking through the dirt along the New Haven's Airline. This was once a huge steel structure, but as heavier trains came along the NH filled in the trestle to beef it up. It also avoided bridge inspections.
