Derailment Cleanup @ Palmer,MAIn June 1998, a Conrail train derailed at Palmer. Crews immediatly began cleaning up. In this photo, a section of temporary track was laid to allow for trains to continue running. Eventually, the rail was replaced with welded rail. Unsure of the cause of the derailment though.
