New England Metroliner

This four-car train behind AEM-7 910 at South Norwalk, CT, is Amtrak #294, the evening New England Metroliner service between Penn Station and Boston. This was a relatively short-lived premium service that ran from New York to Boston in 4 hours 9 minutes with limited stops That was a fast run in the 1980s, before Amtrak's reconstruction and electrification of the Shore Line.
