New England Southern on Pan Am tracks in Concord

The crew of New England Southern's great sounding SW1500 arrived in Concord on early Saturday morning (6/11),and picked up two slurry cars bound for the 3M plant in Tilton.

These cars were picked up near Pan Am's Concord Yard Tower, as the 2555 makes it way northward, passing the runaround track where Pan Am's NA-1 and NA-2 local trains make their runarounds to head south.

The New England Southern crew started out in Canterbury, headed south to Concord to pick up two full cars, then northward to Lochmere (Tilton), then south again to Concord to drop off the two empty cars, and call it a day back in Canterbury.. It was great to see the crew in action !
