This is a view west at MP 27.4 towards Farmer's Crossing. Most ties have been inserted here, with spiking, stoning and tamping left before passenger service resumes to Phoenicia, hopefully by mid-June. This track was damaged by Hurricane Irene in August 2011. FEMA funds allocated for this repair were withheld by Ulster County, so the CMRR fixed the track with its own resources.
