Photo of New Power - Mass. Central RR
New Power - Mass. Central RR

A pair of new (used) GP38-2s are seen parked at the yard of the Mass. Central RR at Palmer, Mass. on Thursday morning, July 11, 2013. The two units, the 1750 and 1751, are painted in a very attractive B&M Bluebird-like paint scheme. In the foreground one of the local crows is seen taking a casual stroll past the yard, apparently uninterested in the latest set of power. A man standing on the walkway is painting the white lettering "Massachusetts" on the side of the engine.
