Empire Coke 1 and 2 - Calera, AL There's the Dreyfuss Hudson and the Alco PA; and then at the other end of the spectrum are homely Empire Coke 1 and 2, four-wheel electric switchers built by General Electric in 1903 and 1905. They saw regular use for nearly a century and are now stored at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in Calera, Alabama. Photographed by David M. Wilkins, May 9, 2012. Added to the photo archive by Frank Hicks, May 10, 2012.
