The NERAIL Photo Archives are maintained by Jeff Morris. Jeff was born and raised in Quincy (pronounced "kwin-zee"),
Massachusetts, but now makes his home in Kingston, Washington (just west of Seattle).
Jeff's interest in railroading started at a very early age. At about 4, he received his first train set; a small Marx O
scale set, with a #490 engine, two cars, and a caboose. The fire, as they say, was lit. As a youngster, his interests
turned toward HO scale model railroading, and even early rail-fanning. While other kids were playing baseball or football,
Jeff could usually be found on his Scwinn Stingray bicycle, chasing the once a day train
through his home town on the Fore River Railroad (now the Fore River Transportation Company.) During his teenage years Jeff
constructed several HO scale model train layouts, with a few diversions in to N scale.
Now in his 50s, Jeff's primary model train interests are still with HO scale, although he has also taken up
collecting Marx O scale trains, and he has managed to acquire a small but growing collection of Marx pre-war and post-war
equipment as well.
